Worn Out Antiques started as an online store which was launched by Connor McDermott.
He wanted to honour his late father, Shaun McDermott, who ran the original Worn Out Vintage in Sheringham’s Melbourne Road until he died in 2022.

The online business grew so much in its first few years that the 29-year-old secured his first bricks and mortar premises at Letheringsett Watermill near Holt.
He celebrated his opening weekend on August 1 and 2 and said he was thrilled to welcome 400 customers through the door on the first two days.
“It was great to see so many friendly faces and feel the support of customers both new and old,” the former police officer explained.

“Not only did we have many locals and fellow antiques dealers pop by, but we also had a number of visitors to the county who came for a browse after seeing our recent adverts on social media and the article in the press.

“Over the Friday and Saturday, we saw a combined footfall of around 300 to 400 customers, with a number of customers finding and purchasing their perfect piece.

“We are always looking to purchase fine antiques, salvage and reclamation.
“Even on opening day, we were able to purchase a number of items from customers who had brought them along for us to view.
“We would like to thank all who came to show their support as well as those who made a purchase.”
